Garage Sale

Tommorw is our garage sale , bright and early at 7am. I never really knew how much work goes into preparing for one of these. All week I have been pricing items and getting things together,along with everything else we had this week. Today I wrote on signs,printed out prices, scrubbed a microwave, moved a headboard into the living room and went and got some money for the sale. I hope our hard work pays off and people come and buy!!!We are hoping to use the money for items for the new house.

In one month today we will be able to get the key's to our new home!!! Thank Goodness, we are tired of all the boxes that are everywhere and we are not even half way done packing. We are having a garage sale on Sat. trying to get rid of a lot of things. It will be at 7:00am( I think) next door to the funeral home. We will be having a lot of items, like some furniture that we need to get rid of. If anyone like's gargage sales,please come out and take a look, oh and buy something:)

Happy Mother's Day

I know this is a couple day's late but we were out of state and I didn't have access to a pc. I was with my mom on Mother's Day, I hope she had the best one ever. It was the first time in about 7 years that all her kid's were with her on this special day.

My Mom, word's could never explain how great my Mom is. She is slow to anger, most of time:)She never has a harsh word to say about anything or anyone. She gives and never wants anything in return. I have seen her go through some very bad times in her life.She loved God and trusted in Him in every situation she was in. My Mom is strong, when most women would walk away and give up. She taught us to just trust in God and he will see you through.She wasn't affraid to cry or share her emotions. I am the person I am because of my Mom. She fought for me and what she believed to be right. She prayed for me and I am saved this day because of it.

I love you Mom, more and more each day.I hope someday I can be as good as a Mom as you have been to us.

What Happened?

This is a post that I did on my myspace one night last week:

Me and Lynn were driving the other day; talking about family and such. I asked Lynn what happened to people that used to believe in God and everything we as Pentecostal's believe to be true and right? How can you be touched and moved and feel and be in God's presence and then just one day;just give up and go into the"world". You go believing in something so strongly and something you know is right and then you don't. I know I haven't lived for God all my life but I never had the Holy Ghost while being in the "world".I never knew what it was like to be touched the only way Jesus knew how. He put together a wounded and bitter spirit that I had. Now whatever I may go through and whatever life may throw at me. I hope that I have enough love for My Lord and Savior and for this truth, to never give up. We all have problems and situations in life that we have to deal with. But were not alone and the Lord knows. He can't help us or fix everything, when we just give up and say forget.Trust in The Lord and lean not in your own understanding for we is always watching over you and everything that concerns you.
