Hello! I'm back from the Arctic and have finally thawed... Literally!! We discovered this weekend that ice coated antennas don't pick up the Internet that well. Yes, we are wireless and all but our whole Internet life depends upon one small little stick a top the gable of our apartment, and when its frozen solid, well, it just doesn't do much good. So, while others had at least an attachment to the outside world this weekend through their Internet, we had only each other, and two annoying dogs, and books, PlayStation, drawing, cleaning, laundry, cleaning, dishes, cleaning and cleaning. I don't know how I found the time to be bored, but I did. It was good for us though, and good for the apartment.
So, what do you write about after such an "Eventful" weekend? I dunno... I guess the fact that I am back! It feels good to be able to check the weather, read the news, make sure we still have at least $14.50 in the account to cover the pizza from last night. The pizza was good!
This weekend was the first time in a LONG, LONG time I can remember being home two nights in a row!! I must admit it was quite refreshing. Though, at 5:30 this morning I wasn't feeling so refreshed. Something about having to get up and go to work just takes that out of you. Well, I'm done rambling now. I haven't had a random pic in a while so her
e ya go! In this picture, we see Billy Jones and Zac Anglin defacing a wall in our church. Okay, its not as bad as it sounds, it's the "Youth" wall where we all have signed and some have put their favorite scripture and for some odd reason, the year we graduate(d). Why do we do that? Signing the wall has become a tradition for all the "Newcomers" to LAPD and LIFEalive(7.25)

Glad y'all are back from the Artic! It could not have happened to a better couple. I would love to see the "clean" apartment.
We all will remember this weekend as a special time getting to enjoy life without. I have loved it.
I will have to add what Tam said. This has been a great weekend for the Bryants to just slow down. We didn't like missing church, but it was a good time to relax and get refreshed.
We truly enjoyed the services we had as a family watching over the Internet the Pentecostals of Alexandria, our old church. We all felt the presence of God so strong in our living room during that time. We hooked a video cable from the computer and watched it on the TV. I think it was the first time I have gone to church without shaving. hehe
Tammy and I were truly blessed as we were able to dance as a family and allow our kids to see their parents worship God outside of church and in our home. That is what I will remember about our family getting "rebooted" this weekend.
glad y'all are back!! Missed you - and your posts.
