I WAS FRAMED!!!!!

Yes, that's me and YES that's a baby in my arms! Believe me, I was framed!!! A man can't even fall asleep in his own home with his newborn niece in his arms without someone goin' and takin' a picture of him! I tell you, you just can't trust anyone!

This is Bayli, or Baylie, or is it Bailey, however you spell it, she spent quality time with her uncle Lynn Saturday morning in his favorite chair. Remember this Bayli when you turn two and don't like me, like someone else who will be mentioned shortly. For those who don't know, my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, two nieces and a nephew all came to visit Friday and Saturday. I had a good time with them all. I kinda took up with Bayli, I think because she was my type, quiet, sleeping, never a whimper, never a cry, just quiet, at least, when I was around.

I was afraid we were in for it when the two older ones, Katie and Gavin, screamed and cried at the sight of two 1ft tall dogs sniffing of them, trying to figure out what in the world they were. They finally realized that the dogs weren't there to hurt them, but just wanted to play so they all wound up having fun. I'm told MY Chandler had spaghetti noodles wrapped around him at one point in the evening Friday. Poor Chandler, always the victim(refer to Dubya's Blog.) When I got in Friday night, from being forced to go hang out with Joseph and Sis. Barbara, I noticed that Jorgie(Satan's Wiener Dog) was making her rounds through the apartment to check on the sleeping children just to make sure they were all right. Maybe Jorgie's not so bad after all. Good sign for the future.

Oh yes, there's someone I need to talk about. THAT would be Katie, Katlyn, Kaitlyn or however hers is spelt. Why couldn't they use names like Sue or Betty, though I guess you could spell those, Seu and Betyi or Sui and Bettie. Nevertheless, Katie thought I was sent to haunt her little world and ran from me, cried and screamed at the very sight of me. She even turned her back from me at breakfast, and then at lunch told me to "Go Away" like I was a dog sniffing her feet. In this picture, don't be fooled, she was NOT a happy camper. She was squirming, crying and trying to do anything but be caught in a picture with me. I think she only smiled at me when she was 20 feet away from me, locked up in a car seat, on her way back to Ft. Worth, waving "Good-Bye" or was it "GO AWAY, FAR AWAY"?

All-in-all, the weekend turned out better than I first feared. For all who know me, you are probably wondering how in the world I stayed in a house with three kids, the eldest being 3!! It wasn't so bad, I have a loving wife, loving mother-in-law and an understanding sister-in-law who allowed me to spend Friday evening away. Kim REALLY DID KICK ME OUT!!! Honest!

Regina, Mikki, Gavin, Katie, and Bayli, thanks for coming up and making my weekend interesting. I really did enjoy it!

NOW, about this picture, when did Gavin and Katie do this and WHO ALLOWED IT TO GO ON???? That's MY bed they're jumping on!!! Don't laugh at the green comforter and the pink flower picture, all you unmarried men out there, you'll get your turn one day too!
I have a feeling there was a fun loving Grandmother and Aunt behind this picture. What a weekend!!!

It sounds like you had a blast, Lynn! LOL! I'm sure you did enjoy the visit and especially the children. Just think some day you will have a house full of your own! I can't wait to see how you respond to your OWN children. Something really does happen in your heart when they're yours.
