First Step

Tuesday night was my first night to volunteer at the woman's shelter, for those who don't know First Step has a shelter for domestic violence and sexual assault. Not really sure what I was going to be doing, I went and I really enjoyed my self. It is every bit of crazy and chaotic in that place. I really didn't do much except learn how things are done and sat through a house meeting. I will be going next Tuesday to be with the kid's while the women have their group sessions. I asked what I need to do with the kids as far as activities and the manager of the shelter told me to just pray about it. I am not really sure what to do since the ages are from 12 months to 12 years old. If there are any suggestions, that would be great! I will go now and finish taking the tree down.
