It's not a Religion, It's a Relationship

During the month of February  the church that I attend(Life Tabernacle) are reading the book of Acts. On Sunday evening during church while people were getting prayed for, my mind began to think all the people that Acts mentions who the discpiles ministered too. People that were hurting, people that needed deliverance, people that were wanting more than just a religion. The scripture came to mind "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest."(Matthew 11:28). We had a incredible service on Sunday but Monday came and there came new battles. I have been taught this week that I must stay connected to the vine.He must increase and I must decrease.

I saw this post last week on Facebook while the world was mourning the death of Whitney Houston. I really liked what she (Kelly Orange) had to say and thought I would I share it on my blog.

"I wish I could have told Whitney Houston that the greatest love of all was not inside her. I wish I had the opportunity to tell Tina Turner that love has everything to do with it. "Greater love have no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13) It is not a religion, it is a relationship."
