What I Learned From My Mother

What I learned from my mother is that someone else always has it worse than you do.I remember when I was a teenager I had gone over to a friend's house and they didn't have any groceries. I had went home and told my Mom and that day we went and bought them groceries. That has always stuck out to me. My Mom taught me you always give to others before you give to yourself. My Mom taught me the value of working hard. I remember one year my Mom working at Wal-Mart during the Christmas season so us kids could have a nice Christmas. What I learned from the Mother is what it means to have unconditional love. I spent the majority of my teenager years giving my parents a lot of heartache. My Mother loved me when I wasn't very lovable.I learned from the Mother that the world did not revolve around me and I really thought it did at times. What I learned from my Mother is how be sold out to God. My Mother has lived for God her whole life, even when the odds were against her.I learned from my Mother how to put my trust at the feet of Jesus. He will never do you wrong. Now that I am a Mother I hope that I will be the kind of Mother that my Mom has been to me. I love you Mom! Happy Mothers Day.
