I don't know how I came across this Facebook page the other day but I sure am glad that I did. "Marriage Works" is incredible. They post "advice", I guess that is what you would call it for married people. Kinda like "Food for Thought" but "Thought for Facebook".Anyhow.....I have posted a few of my favorites, I would post all of them but then this would be a really long............post.
Happy Reading:)
* Marriage models Christ's relationship with the church, and is one of God's ways of teaching us how to love an imperfect person unconditionally.
*To many spouces pull a snippet of their mate's statements out of context for their own, personal gain. You be & do better than that.
*You can't keep returning evil for evil and expect your marriage to get better. It just won't work.Somebody has to stop the cycle by sowing love.
*It will be difficult for you to build your mate up if you're constantly tearing him/her down. Be supportive.
*Are you in your marriage to serve or be served?Jesus said the greatest among you would be the servant.(Matthew 23:11)
*Your mouth is either killing or bringing life to your marriage.Your words are building up or tearing down.Speak wisely.
*Marriage is a place of holiness for you to serve & be served, to love & be loved & to forgive & be forgiven.
*Stop letting today's culture dictate how your marriage looks & operates. Let Christ shape your marriage.
