I have been thinking about having special post called "Miles Moments" to reflect on moments in Miles life that I don't want to forget. I am not a scrapbooker and I am bad about writing stuff down, so why not use this blog for a outlet for moments in my family's life.
Miles had his first real hair cut yesterday. Lynn was going to get his cut, so why not kill two birds with one stone. I hope I stated that right. Oh well... if I didn't. The experience was very traumatising for both of them. Miles didn't like the idea of some woman he has never met touching him and well Daddy got to be the bad guy to let it all go down. This is a quote from my husband's FaceBook page of him describing the experience. "10 AM appointment for a first haircut and 1 and a half hours later, after crying, screaming, throwing fits, peeing on daddy, a Veggie Tales distraction, a Talking Tom distraction, three suckers, falling asleep to soothing combing of hair, daddy covered in Miles hair clippings and Kassie(hairstylist at Salon FX) cutting her finger.... Here's the end result. A mini-man."
I couldn't be there for his hair cut because of work, so last night at the church was the first time I got to see him in person. I have to say I was kinda upset. My sweet baby Miles doesn't look like a baby anymore. His curls that I could run my fingers through are gone. No more curls, no more wavy hair. I know it will grow back but it just isn't the same. My little boy is growing up and I guess with growing up means big boy hair cuts.

I remember Colten's curly hair, I loved it, and hated when it didn't grow back curly after about 2 years old.
